With The Wetness

Wow, its been a while since my last blog. I can't really write about much because I haven't been doing anything. Just sitting around, watching DVDs and going on the Internet a lot.
So I have 3 more days left of this trial, I get out Friday night and am SO excited to be finally done when the time comes!
It is pelting down with rain outside but I only hear little trickles against the window which really sucks because I love heavy rain and all the sounds it brings with it.
So speaking of rain and all things wet, my sister and I have been deciding what to get Mum for her birthday which was yesterday. We came across a day spa and all the lovely treatments that come with it and decided, "Yep, that's what we're getting her. She will definitely love it!"

I've been searching around over the net and looked at the Indulgence Package for Crown in the city and um, the price pretty much flew that one out of the window... $835!!

Orchid Day Spa ain't too bad, $160 for a 3 deal package thingy of a facial, spa salt glow and a giftl. It's 2 people putting together, though, so I don't mind putting in more for her to get more, shes only put up with Judy for 25 years and me a horrid 19.

Now, browsing through the Lyall Hotel spa, I am really indecisive so instead, I am going to watch Before Sunrise with Ethan Hawke and Julie Deply from 2 Days In Paris (I can watch 2 Days In Paris over and over).

Cannulas and their place in the galaxy

Blahhh, I got a cannula in my arm this morning for the clinical trial that I'm doing... Twice.
The first one didn't work but the second one now works sweetly. Both arms ache though.

Anyhoo, I've made a list of things I want to buy when I DO get out of this trial. And they are *drum roll* (no, wait, scrap that. Too cheesy)

Final Frontier bag by Black Friday.
It's amazing. The outer material is a satin with a print that can shoot you straight out of orbit. Drawstring with a long strap (the way I like 'em) and i'm pretty sure its a poplin lining (lightweight-ish polycotton).

Um, they are the main 2 items plus the jumper from my previous post that i want to get. Anymore and I'll be sure to publish them.
I'm pretty sure I am the only person reading this post so I will just keep rambling on.

I think i dream Tertris. I've been playing it so much now that I have my own laptop. I close my eyes and I see the bricks sliding down, taking shape and fitting perfectly into the voids. Maybe I should check myself into somewhere, maybe not.

On that note, my best friend has allowed me to rent from her Mad Men. A drama depicting people, mostly men, in the advertising business during the 50's and the lives they lead. It is a show worth every second of my starry eyes. Though I do prefer comedies such as Scrubs, Arrested Development and The Mighty Boosh, and not so much dramas since they tend to lose everything and turn into soapies. This drama is one of its own (or one on its own?).

I just heard the nurses talking about Christmas shopping. Shit, I haven't done any AT ALL... Eep!
Also, also, also!! I need a hair cut and have no idea of what to get. So when I get out of this confinement, I will skip right down to Fitzroy and tell them to do what they like. I am counting down. 9 more days to go!
