All Day In Bed And Not Even Sick....

Well, that Jah Children project didn't work out, I got too nervous going up to people, AND I left my new SD card in my parents' car so the original card filled up by Thursday night (i got there Wednesday morning)
Being the last to go to bed EVERY single night (ranging from 2-4am) in my cabin has taken its toll and now that I'm back home, I've been sleeping in and staying in bed all day... such bliss from waking up early everyday, uni crap and moving to and from houses every week.

So here are a few of my favourite photos of those 2 days my camera had some memory:
They're kinda crap and all, but i like them and I'm getting back into people photos after finally buying a new battery and charger for my camera instead of using my film camera for only special things.
*Note To Self: get more than a year's worth of film developed soon.*
i still don't know why the photos once uploaded are so small... :(

Revive Tent where you can either sit on pillows on the floor or at tables. more often than not, i chose the floor.

Et en finale; Moi
black cardi: MNG/blue shirt: Chai tent at Soul Survivor/plaid scarf: Savers/
Chain Necklace: etsy/belt: Westco/Jeans: Factorie/Elephant bag: I made

So at the festival they have these amazing rad tents and stalls etc, one with $1 Chais and I hit that shit like it was going out of style, a tent with all the stuff from Tear Australia (an amazing mission organisation that one of my lecturers is heavily involved with), and a little corner with 2nd hand vintage shiz from which i got an awesome Sarah Blasko-ish shirt.
Soul was pretty life changing this year, so was last year (i rededicated my life), but so much crap came up that helped me sort out and give to God, fix up relationships with people around me and rid myself of the burdens I carry for people instead of just empathising with them. :)
'Twas a great weekend, meeting new people and getting closer with ones I already knew.

Nor Shall He Be Smitten By The Moon of the Night

Wowow...
this has been my first post since a very long time...
well, i know no one is reading this but i guess i'll put it up.
Usually, I feel that I am the only one with my certain dress style because i take from so many inspirations and all the blogs i've been reading of late are just one certain style...
SO, here's to the punk/girly/tomboy/withdrawn girls of the inter highway
:)

ok, so this year uni has been crazy as can be so i havent been able to buy new clothes...
so rummaging through old clothes, making new ones from fabric thats been lying around for months and months and good ol' ebay...
here is my planned outfit for the first day of Soul Survivor and i'm quite nervous because people there are amazingly dressed.

how amazing are these tights!!

'rainboots': Kmart/socks: Savers/tights: ebay/black velour skirt: i made last night/san andreas shirt: my cousin gave it to me, it was way too big so i fixeded it :)/denim jacket: savers/Keith Harring pin: can't remember... :(/chain scarf: etsy/björk necklace: Lenko/stripey shirt: Salvation Army/beret: Valleygirl/bike shorts: my sister's room, really..

It's pelting down right now, and Soul is pretty much all tents and shibblez, so i finally get to wear my gumboots!!!

All during the festival, I will be taking photos of people individually, noting their clothes, or something odd or different about them, much like Richard Avedon. A new project I have set myself named Jah Children.
the name only because I'm listening to Bad Brains and The Meek came on.

p.s. Caryl, you are the greatest :)
